I object on the grounds that I don't feel it is necessary and is unaffordable when there are higher priorities.

I also feel strongly that any changes that impact the public's ability to select who they wish to vote for and how they select them should be put to the people to choose to accept those changes. Parliaments are supposed to be a peoples Parliament elected by the public to serve the public. 

The Parliament should not be creating it's own rules and marking their own homework. We live in a democracy last time I checked.
